DAMP RID room refreshner as drying container

I found a 12 oz damp rid room refreshner for .99 cents at a hardware store and rather than making wire mesh partitions for the shrooms and desiccant i was wondering if i could use the container the damprid comes in. It has a black plastic containter inside that has slits up and down to allow water to collect at the bottom. I suppose you could put a thin layer of damp rid at the bottom of the black collander (which comes to about half way to the bottom) and use some wire mesh near the top of the container to hold the shrooms a few inches above the damp rid. Or you could just put the damp rid in the very bottom of the container below the black collander and place the shrooms in the bottom of the black collander but i wonder if its necessary to have a way of draining water away from the desiccant. what do you guys think.

As long as the container is air tight it should work. Seems like a good idea! :smile:
