how long should dialated pupils last?

the last trip i had was 2 days ago, and my pupils are still somewhat dialated, and usually they are normal within a day of the trip, so how much longer should it take, or should be worried about something permanent?

no, i've checked that.

i've noticed a higher sensitivity to light, and slightly larger pupils.

i'm hoping that this is only temporary.

Hhhmm strange. Usually when I'm on amphetamines my pupils dilate the next day. But this obviously doesn't apply to your situation. Sorry.

My pupils are dilated a bit more since I got into psychedelics, and i'm more sensitive to light. This is since my first trip, like one year ago.

But hey, does it really matter?

I doubt if they are actually bigger. It's more likely that you have the feeling they are bigger.

I tripped 2 nights ago at 11pm until around 5am, got to sleep at 6-7am and awoke at 8-9ish and my eyes were fully back to normal- thats only a matter of hours!  :shocked:

Other times when i've munched half a dozen pills or so my eyes have been delated for most of the day.

Haha no i had to get up n go job hunting! I love my sleep usually but i was lay there and things werent exactly back to normal and i had some mild CEV's still.

Could of done with a nice joint  :smirk:

its been 4 days, and they still are a bit dialated, albeit not as much as they were a few days ago, i'm hoping everything should just even itself out by the end of the week...

Its important to understand why the pupils dilate.
basically mushrooms, acid and others overload certain neurotransmitters in various ways that causes a particular cluster of nerves to relax, while exciting others. The nerve system that controls the dilation of pupils is one of the nerve centres that is relaxed by their action.
It doesnt have any more significance than that - it does not relate to the severity of your trip, etc.
