I have to admit I love doing this. I love the feeling and the sound, and also to have that mastery over my own body gives me a tiny thrill with each succesive 'pop'.

I agree totally, can't really put it better.

My neck is my favorite popping part, but I try and only do it on a minimal basis. After and during acid trips is crucial. :smile:

Step 2) Step up on a chair
Step 3) Tie Rope off to something that can support body weight
Step 4) Kick chair out
Step 5) Pop.

I never knew this:

If you've ever laced your fingers together, turned your palms away from you and bent your fingers back, you know what knuckle popping sounds like. Joints produce that CRACK when bubbles burst in the fluid surrounding the joint.

That's really cool. I thought it was your bones hitting each other.

I don't know, really, because only a couple of my friends can do it. I have always been able to twist it sideways and it will pop. There, I just did it....ahhh! :laugh:

I pop my neck, back (pop-pop-pop-pop-pop-pop), sometimes hips, toes, fingers. Never knees (except by accident - ouch) or elbows.
