Shrooming at a rock concert?

I'm thinking of taking an eight or maybe a little more at an upcoming velvet revolver concert. Seeing as this is my 4 or 5th trip and an eigth isn't a lot to me I should be ok.

Good idea or bad trip waiting to happen?

If it was me i probably wouldn't be able to compose myself.

Ya, I've never freaked out on my previous trips, plus we are going to sit in the upper bleachers to give us some space and smoke blunts.

If you reckon you can handle it though, it'd probably be an enjoyable trip. Maybe eat less than an eighth so you don't trip so hard?

Tripping at concerts is fun (if you are up for adventure). EAT BEFORE YOU GET FRISKED BY SECURITY. Have a designated driver. Enjoy!

Yup, eat right before you walk in the joint. Then you'll have time to concentrate on smoking while your coming up as the concert starts. In an arena rock concert upper deck is key because drunk rock concert-goers always bother me when I'm dosed.

I could handle it if I had a chair. Being in any mosh pit would be disorienting at the least.

i had 30g of fresh thai's at a thin lizzy concert, and it ruled. it made me appreciate the music so much more.

My sister and I split a 32 ounce tea with about 9 grams of shrooms in it before a battle of the bands concert once.


It was an ok trip.

Not really in tune with the other people there.

Turns out that this wasn't the greatest idea. I only got 20 minutes into the opener before I started getting really uncomfortable, claustrophobic and couldn't deal with music and vibe and had to leave.

I really wanted to see this show and I'm now second guessing my decision to leave, but it felt like a bad trip coming so it was probably best that I did. I also feel bad that my buddies left with me and this was a show that we have been waiting for for months. But I won all our tickets and bought a case of beer so I think we're even.

ah man that sucks, one thing i notice about bad trips, is that you feel like it's illegal to have fun! Shrooming in busy places can be scary, and at places liek concerts, your either gunna love it or hate it.

I'm going to the And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead concert on the 18th. I'm planning on eating a couple grams of shrooms before I leave, not enough to really start tripping out though, maybe level 2 or 3. Even though this would be an amazing concert for a higher dose I've never tripped around that many people, so I figure I'll keep it lower this time.

I love tripping at shows....I don't know about Velvet Revolver though, they seem like more of a dopey/drinking band to me.

Just found out I'm going to a rave tonight, I've never been to one before so it should be interesting. I'm planning on eating 2-2.5g on the way there, just to 'enhance' the experience a bit. We'll see how it goes.

Good point, I'm going to that show, but I'm thinking I'm just gonna get hammered, not exactly my ideal tripping scene.

Either way though, I'm sure I'd have fun.
