I guy I worked with dropped his computer off for me to fix, and didn't bring the mouse. No big deal, except for his motherboard has the old school DIN connector for a mouse, and I don't have an adapter.

So when I open any windows using keyboard shortcuts, the windows are all minimized. And I don't know the shortcut to maximize explorer windows. It's aggravating.

Does anyone know the shortcut in question?

it doesn't have USB...it's an old motherboard.

just go to any computer repair shop, some will just give you the mouse, but some might charge up to $5.... no biggie.

alt+tab to bring up the window
then f11 to maximize
alt+tab to switch between windows

Ah, F11, thank you.

I'm still having problems with this bloody machine. The NIC works, but I still get a 'cannot connect to server' error message. I've removed the nic, restarted and let it find the new hardware, installed the drivers, etc... and still no connectivity.
It's starting to piss me off, and he wants to pick it up tonight. Any thoughts?
