Who uses AVANT for their browser?

I just started using it a few minutes ago and it seems alright. Any comments out there?

i used to use it.

now i say stay away

stay as far away from anything using internet explorer as possible!

use firefox

Avant is Internet Explorer - you do realize this right?

use www.opera.com
or www.getfirefox.com

since I hear so much about firefox being good maybe you guys can help me out, I tried it out and hated it, almost every other web page I tried to visit would make firefox just close, id click a link and firefox would just close. Maybe you guys can help me out with why the hell it does that. Right now im using Phaseout (works good enough for me)

sounds like a botched installation or a bad download. re-install with a fresh profile. profiles will be found here:

Windows 2000, XP:Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

Windows NT: WINNT\Profiles\<UserName>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

Windows 98, ME: Windows\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox

Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/Firefox
Linux and Unix systems: ~/.mozilla/firefox

scan for any virus/spyware, delete your profile, re-install. should work - if not, then there is something wrong with your computer.

The image in my signature links to an actual Christian website that is 100x more absurd and offensive than the image. Yes, I am making fun of Christianity if Christianity is what is represented by that hateful website. If you are a Christian who is not of that absurd, extremist variety and actually practice Love and Forgiveness as Jesus did, I do apologize if you are offended - but you should also be against the nonsense found at that the website and in the hearts of "the faithful"- probably more than me.

I used firefox 6 years ago too but now I use Chrome.  AVANT looks like crap
