OK Crisis resolved (quick food question - please answer fast i'm hungry)

if i cut this chicken breast i just broiled and some dark red liquid blood pours out, was it raw? it looks cooked. dont lie if you don't know for sure

Should be fine, how long did you cook it for and at what heat?

as long as the whole chicken got to a certain temperature, its ok. i think about 180F is right.

cook it more I would i hate that blodd stuff ....yuck....it can not hurt it to put it in for bit longer..blood id bad red buy the bone is normal even though it freaks me out

that does not look cooked!

chicken does sometimes have blood but to be cooked the meat should be white, not pink. that pic looks liek there is still pink meat. i would cook it longer....no sense risking it.

it doesnt matter.  my and my roomate "cooked" some steaks the other day.  we left them dripping red with blood.  they were goooood.  and we never got sick.  so you're good to go :wink:

Steaks dont contain any bacteria (besides the ocasional Eucoalai--spelling?---which only inhabits unealthy meat)
Almost all poultry contains Salmanella which needs to be cooked out unless you want to get awfully sick. Not like anybody would want Chicken Medium Rare anyways.

chicken has to be cooked all the way... it's not like steak which can be served rare.

I suggest cutting it up a little better and baking it in a covered dish with butter and seasonings for 15-20 more minutes

can't hurt it and it'll be flavorful

Well you can eat shit and trian your body to do soo if you want too fearfect, but I was responding to your reply of suggesting it was "fine" to injest for the poster and using Rare steaks as an anology whcih is not appopiate for this condition.

Hey I cooked it up and the blood is nowhere to be found. I don't know what happens to it. maybe it soaks in and makes dark meat? It's possible.

Thanks wyld for the mini recipe. It was pre-seasoned chicken, and I put hot sauce all over it. But if it was plain I would absolutely do just that.
