Contams & Altitude?
    #390867 - 09/10/01 11:25 PM (22 years, 5 months ago)

Hey, I just started growing shrooms for the first time. i live in Colorado, so my elevation is well above 5,000 feet. I was just wondering if the altitude has any affect on the growing of shrooms and if ayone knows if it's true that it's hard to get contams...seeign as hardly anythign survives up here. that's what i'm assuming.

i seriously doubt that your contam risk in colorado will any different than anywhere else in the world. mold spores fry everywhere, and anywhere people live, they grow.

I have found that shrooms are very happy at 7200 feet so I am sure that you will have no problems. Unfortounately contams do just as well. Good luck
