I started a cool mist tek awhile back. I don't use it exactly as stated anymore. I've added a PC fan that blows a certain percentage of dry air in some small holes so I can get the relative humidity in the growth chamber down to 90%. I also use another PC fan inside for re-circulation. I hand mist to increase the moisture in the casing with a pump mister.

What I've found is that while general circulation is fine, 100% relative humidity like from a cool mist is not. It can quickly lead to grew mold in casings, often around the time of 3rd flush. When a casing shows green mold, I have found that most of the time it's a symptom of excessive relative humidity in the growth chamber.

I still don't get hotnutz spore dispersal/ush idea?  Quite interested.  As far as the rest go.  I've seen afoaf just have a ush hooked up to a 36" closet (martha).  He sprays the casing once or twice a week with hydorgen peroxide and h20 solution.  Just a little bit h202.  Adds H202 to ush as well.  Turns on ush 2 times a days for about 10 minutes.  He also added a 56 qt underthebed rubbermade container to the bottom of the marth.  Then he added 2 bags of DRY perlite.  Eventually the perlite will become satuated but not too much.  Works excellent.  the whole set up cost under $100.  As far as the "can I put the ush inside the fruiting chamber?" question, don't be so lazy and go to Loews. 
A few pieces of pvc and hose shouldn't cost too much. Anyhow I would be afraid of an electrical fire.  They do happen! Peace Rudiger420 :mushroom2:

If you place syringes in an ultrasonic jewlery cleaner, it sends waves through the water shaking the hell out of the syringe, making it great for inoculating things, spores evenly dispersed.

I tried it with my ultrasonic humidifier though and it doesnt work.

It didn't. Mine has a hellacious vibration that works rather well. I guess it depends on the machine itself. Mine you can actually see the sprores being worked.

I am setting up a chamber, and was going to use a ush w/ a Plexiglas drip shield. if I use a cool mist can i skip the shield? thnx
