Khat

My Little friend the Panda Bear has got these 2 seedlings of khat growing. Panda bear knows that khat doesn't like water but seedlings will dry out fast. What should my Panda Bear do water when soil dries our fully or keep moist.

a well drained sandy mix is ideal and should be kept moist.
no propagation dome is necessary as seedlings require low humidity.

once mature watering can be kept to a minimum as fungal problems and rot easily occur.

hope this helps

That sounds like good advice, Bolwarra but I wouldn't really keep the soil wet all the time. I think you mean the first week or so after they come up. After that you might want to let it dry out between waterings. Khat likes a good sized pot so soon as they are ready to transplant, give them something they can spread their roots out in. You can put them in the ground also. Khat does not like freezing so if you are in a cold climate a pot might be better so you can bring them in.

From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship.” (attributed to Alexis de Tocqueville political philosopher Circa 1835)
