I hate to say it brother.....throw it out! Better yet throw it in your yard. Maybe it can still fruit(don't eat it though). Don't give up man....once you get it.... it's almost impossible to screw up after that. Goodluck!

pink/red's not good. but, it may just be a hue or your imagination- if youve got other jars colonizing, set them apart from them and watch them. wait & see... dont open em up- if you can post a pic that could be helpful too :) you may wanna post your question in the contam forum- they may be more help.

ive only seen pink in casing contam pics- they call it lipstick mold. its yucky looking. havent seen a pic in a jar yet though... HQ's only seen green in jars... ew. anything thats not white (myc.), substrate or shroom poo (yellow liquid-waste) is generally not good in colonizing jars. btw- youre using perlite in your substrate? and not vermiculite? and my pinks just fine, thanks.

i have personally dealt with a lot of lipstick mold. if youve got color after only three days, that did not come from some kind of dye off of something by accident, then its to the backyard it goes. some cakes with red hues can grow fruit, but it will be late comming and not robust.

perlite is not the same as verm, but it can be used as a lesser substitute. it does not hold moisture quite as well, and since it is white, makes it frustrating to monitor growth in the early stages.

yes... she has a VAGINA, and a very clean one i might add. in a colonizing substrate, if you see any colour other than white (as in red, purple, pink, black, orange, yellow) chances are (98%) its contamination.... anybody want to talk about my BROWN??
