I got ripped off by a web site (BIG TIME)!

I purchased some prescription drugs online and I never recieved them. I spent a few hundred dollars, and now the web site says the company is out of bussiness. Is there anything that I can do? I would apreciate any REAL help, I don't need to hear how stupid I am, I am well aware of that fact already.

Get an attorney, they'll probably clear the shit up and get you money if they have talent

but what about the fact that he is buying prescription drugs, which I assume he does not have a prescription for.

I don't know if there's too much you can do. Was it a foreign company? They may be difficult to track down, if you're thinking of litigation.

Well, no offense dude, but buying prescription drugs off the web isn't the brightest thing you can do......it's illegal, and as we all know that attracts all sorts of shady people. Over the web it's even easier to rip people off. All you can do is take the loss and learn from it....this is assuming you were getting them illegally. Now, if you have legitmate medicinal needs, legitimate prescriptions and were ordering them because they cost so damn much in the US, you may be able to get your money back. In this case I would recommend consulting a lawyer. Good luck.

Only if you had a prescription and you were ordering them legitimately, otherwise you'll either get nothing, or get charged with attempting to import a controlled substance.
