A walk.
    #3823833 - 02/23/05 08:21 PM (13 years, 4 months ago)

We walk, with no intent of to stop walking.

-Let us call that life?

We walk, with no intent of to stop walking, but we do.

-Let us call that living?

We walk, with no intent of to stop walking, but we did, taking a step backwards.

-Let us call that death?

____
I just wrote this, thinking ?we are dead? becoming?.

We walk, fearing that if we stop, our brain is gonna implode.

Lets call that life.

We walk, fearing that if we stop, our brain is gonna implode. It turns out to be a scetchy version of the movie "speed" (with the main character being someone as boring as ourself) and we end up running like hell, with little or no hope of survival.

Lets call that living.

We walk, fearing that if we stop, our brain is gonna implode. We act out the movie "speed" and finally the bomb is defused - nothing implodes - nothing happens - the guy gets the girl - gets laid - the end.

Lets call that death.

We walk an odd walk that doesn't look much like walking, and isn't really useful for getting anywhere.  But then realize it is a walk from another country disguised as a walk from this country.

- Let us call this Gomp

Lets call this a metaphor, and lets say it really sucks and we should move on to better things.

we walk

-let's call that life

we walk even when our body lays still and unconscious

-let's call that dreaming

one day our body stops

-let's call that death

maybe we can go on walking without our body

-let's call that the mystery behind death

`You gotta walk this way`
As pointed out by the great American philosopher Steven Tyler.
