OK, I had this idea that the Shroomery could have an AUCTION FORUM. Like eBay, but on the Shroomery.
I just need your imput.
All I want to know is, do you think this is a good idea? Or a bad idea?
The reason I want this is because it costs money to sell on eBay, and you need a credit card, which a lot of us don't have. So I was thinking we could buy and sell shit HERE...
Let me know what you think.

Not enough buyers...way too much stuff would go unbidded. Think about how many people visit ebay - it's one of the top 10 visited sites on the Internet....

i think it's a great idea, cuz we know we can trust each other to be good on our trades, and other things. we can trade things that other trading services (i.e.) e-bay wouldent allow. great idea.

I think it's an awesome idea but realistically it wouldn't be long before a couple bad deals went down and then you'd need a seperate forum just for the arguing. The majority of the people around here are good shit though, so I could be wrong.

Didin't somebody just sell two twin girls on E-bay a couple of months ago? There was a big hoopla about it, court hearings and things. The twins were from the UK and were sold to Americans or something like that.
Anyways, an auction forum would be neat. We could try it out and if it doesn't look like it working too well we could get rid of it. Just don't try and sell babies....

The point of the forum would not be to sell drugs and shit. It would be best, methinks, to sell other things. Anything. But I suppose selling drugs would be alright. I don't know. If we get the board, ask Thor and 3D.

No, no, no...you wouldn't be able to sell drugs. Sheesh. But, if someone had a product that they wanted to sell, like beaded jewelry, hemp things, maybe pipes and things, they could do that in the auction forum.
I'm not sure how popular it would be, but it just might work. In this life...there are nothing but possibilites... ;)
I'm also going to move this thread to the suggestion forum because I think it might get some more attention over there.

My opinion is that trade forum is that what you ask for....you can do an auction right there.

A trde forum is a good idea also.
I think that if we got our Auction Forum, then you could also work out some trades there. No need for 2 more forums.

auction your stuff, no charge as of now (the software charges nothing, so i dont see a point in $)... donate profits of items to the shroomery and/or use it like a regular private auction (like other online auctions)... please be sure to read the info page at the top of the page...
highlights of the "faq"
-dont list your correct personal info as its shared with the buyer/seller of the auction and can be accessed by the admin
-make sure everythings listed in the correct place (either an auction for the shroomery/$ donated to the admin; or private auction/$ goes to seller)...
-dont try and sell anything you cant sell here (mj seeds, research chems, etc.- anything that breaks the restricted items here does there as well).
