I want to grow some MJ, I live in michigan. I was thinkig about starting it indoors in like 2 weeks (with alot of lighting), and then transplanting it outside in like june, when it's about to start flowering. Would that work good? please give me some advice. I wanna don't want it flowing in my house.

You can start them indoors if you want larger plants. Use an 18/6 hour light cycle under florescent shop lights for a couple weeks and then plant them outside.
Don't grow sativa dominant strains up here, they take too long to flower and it will frost and kill them before you can harvest.
You can start with seeds outside in mid/late may and have buds around September/October with a pure indica strain.

That is true for most every Sativa dominant strain, but Apollo 11 and Cinderella 99 are Sativa dominant but finish much earlier than a normal Sativa will. For those two, you'd be looking at mid-late October. They will still grow tall, so watch out for that. I think you would have to start them indoors and put them outside in early-mid June for that to work though.
You can start them indoors for a couple weeks, then transplant them outdoors. 24/0 or 18/6 are good lighting cycles.

18/6 means 18 hours of coming light and 6 hours of dark right?

Yes but i will stress the plant way more than if you go with 18/6 since 18/6 is more like natures own ligh-cycle. So go with 18/6.
peace..
I veg with MH, so my power bill likes it better when I go 18/6 as well.

Don't start your plants at 12/12, use that if you want your plants to flower, but not for vegetation. They will go into flowering with that light cycle. Too much dark period, not enough light. Stick to the 18/6.
