Even if he wasn't sexually active, that doesn't mean he didn't have a sexual orientation.

Well, I think if you decide to live asexual life, you are not heterosexual or homosexual, because both require at least sexualy judging other people.

edit: Im talking about actions and thoughts, not natural feelings

?
the roman empire was in control at that time
jesus was a troublesome prisoner they put to death. The place Jesus came from wasn't particularly influential.

and lf what do you mean jerry garcia? Garcia died of a heart attack because he was a lardass, he never sacrificed his life for anyone. People look for a saviour too damn often.

Would Jesus #2 do LSD....?

Would they make a "Jesus Christ Super Star" - the sequel...?

There are lots of Jesus'es, just go to any of your local looney bin lock-ups....
Walk in and say, "Whoever thinks they are Jesus, please raise yer~ hand...?"

For if anyone were to claim to be Jesus in today, that is exactly where they would be taken....
Medicated, sedated, locked up, shocked up, and told he was not who he thought he was....

The irony therein....:
Do you think they would be able to "save" him....?  :shake:

Besides, if Jesus was to show up in America (the land of the free), the A.L.C.U. would most definately have Jesus banned (with a gag order) and deported - in the name of "freedom of religion" and individual belief rights....(?)  More irony:  Jesus would then need a lawyer, and would have to go to court and be "judged"....
Look out Judge Judy, here comes Jesus....!
:shake:  :shake:

anyone...a question:

Did Jesus himself ever say in the Bible that he would return in flesh to Earth (not counting when he has risen from the grave)?

Perhaps LSD is Christ's "reincarnation"/second coming.

But what of the "Holy Ghost"...?

Is it:

LSD  Vs.  DPT

For the final showdown of "truth"...?    :smirk:

 No need for a showdown, for truth just combine both. Jesus + Holy Ghost = Becoming one with the Father, and along with that...truth.  :tripping:

Are you saying sexuality is unspiritual?

Re: So if jesus really does return? [Re: Lizard_King]

Depends on what kind of spirituality you are talking about.
Materialistic, atheistic spirituality, then no, in fact it is a big part of the spiritual journey.
If you are talking about the kind of spirituality Jesus spoke of, then, it's not "unspiritual", but can be an obstacle, same as attachments to parents, friends, material possesions etc.
The spiritual joruney Jesus spoke of involved detachemnt from everything, resulting in connection with everything in the end (sounds like a paradox, but I don't know how to put it)

But speaking in general for every type of spirituality involving an eternal bodyless spirit, I'd say that sexuality ties you stronger to this material world, it puts you in a role of a mammal seeking reproduction. And in these kinds of spiritualities, the idea is to learn to recognize yourself (consciousness) from your memory, thought styles, habits, urges, feelings etc. Not to abandon any of it, just
find yourself.

There is a reason why those orange monks sit around all day eating rice and feeding tigres. they are trying to isolate themselfs from the noise that distracts.

I have been thinking about this for a while. I do believe that jesus did exist and was crucified. God, to prove his existence, and to prove his power, sent a son into this world to be sacrificed for our sins, to fix an unbalanced situation. Lets look back 2000 years ago to the birth of christ just about.. What was the world like? the continent of america was not inhabited by what we call americans today, but what we call native americans. What part of the world had the strongest influence on the world 2000 years ago? Were was jesus born?

What part of the world has its strongest influence on the world today? USA?

What i am wondering is do people really think that "jesus" will return looking the same way and from the same place as before?
Do people really think this? I have a fealing that if jesus does "come back" hes not going to be the same bearded dude we see in illustrations. Jesus is not going to be named jesus. Hes not going to come from the middle east, hes going to be in a part of a world that has the most influence.

Different times , but its relatively the same.

when the disciples asked when well he be back, Jesus said something like when he comes back, everyone well know, there well be no mistaking it, "where the body lies, the vultures gather," i believe he said, and he also said if anyones comes saying "i am the christ" or "the christ is over here", do not even go to see what there talking about.

jesus would probably be gay homeless man who gets spit on by Christians.

i know what your saying by this, but let me make it clear that Jesus came into the world not to judge it, but rather, so it could be saved from it.

christians (though there not really "christians") who spit on the gay guy are worse off than the gay guys themselves, surely the "gay guys" well be in heaven sooner than them.

Jesus condems no one, you throw yourself in hell, if jesus condems anyone it's by Gods authority, not his own.

I know Jesus drank wine and rested often, and you don't drink wine for that taste (most people don't, jesus did'nt claim it was for the taste, i'll find the verse (one of many verese about jesus and wine that is  ) that should clear this up).

[edit:] found it: Matthew 11:

7As John's disciples were leaving, Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John: ?What did you go out into the desert to see? A reed swayed by the wind? 8If not, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No, those who wear fine clothes are in kings' palaces. 9Then what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. 10This is the one about whom it is written: ? ?I will send my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way before you.?[c] 11I tell you the truth: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it. 13For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John. 14And if you are willing to accept it, he is the Elijah who was to come. 15He who has ears, let him hear.

16?To what can I compare this generation? They are like children sitting in the marketplaces and calling out to others:

17? ?We played the flute for you,
and you did not dance; we sang a dirge
      and you did not mourn.?

18For John ofetn goes without eating and has never touched a drop of liquor his whole life, and they say, ?He has a demon in him? 19The Son of Man came eating his food and drinking his liquor, and they say, ?Here is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and of the worst sort of ?sinners.? ? But wisdom is proved right by her actions.?

I think he would do it, for recreation, there's nothing wrong with recreation or resting ot playing or fun or pastime.

however, heres another verse to keep in mind : Romans 14:

21It is better not to eat meat or drink wine or to do anything else that will cause your brother to fall.
22So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.

we are also called to obey the laws of the land, so I only do legal "highs" now, and i do it in private with only like minded people...if even with anyone, i like to do it alone usually.

as for as jesus christ super star #2, that would be great, i never actully saw it myself, but i heard it was great.
