So if jesus really does return?

I have been thinking about this for a while. I do believe that jesus did exist and was crucified. God, to prove his existence, and to prove his power, sent a son into this world to be sacrificed for our sins, to fix an unbalanced situation. Lets look back 2000 years ago to the birth of christ just about.. What was the world like? the continent of america was not inhabited by what we call americans today, but what we call native americans. What part of the world had the strongest influence on the world 2000 years ago? Were was jesus born?

What part of the world has its strongest influence on the world today? USA?

What i am wondering is do people really think that "jesus" will return looking the same way and from the same place as before?
Do people really think this? I have a fealing that if jesus does "come back" hes not going to be the same bearded dude we see in illustrations. Jesus is not going to be named jesus. Hes not going to come from the middle east, hes going to be in a part of a world that has the most influence.

Different times , but its relatively the same.

I think if Jesus returned now, he'd be largely ignored. That bum on the street claiming to be Jesus may very well have been him.

not exactly a bum on the street, but Jerry was largely loathed and ignored by the current authorities in power, just like Jesus was in his day, yet many people followed both of them for no readily apparent reason.. Who's to say it wasn't him?

Sorry I replied the wrong post, it was planing to respond to the original poster who said that Jesus probably won't have a beard line on pictures.

p.s. One more thought on beards, to the original poster,
People always had and always will have beards, they just shave them.
But if they stopped shaving, they would have beards like Moses did
and the early monkey men  :tongue:

Well perhapse he was, but it wouldn't make sense to me.
I think he was beyond such passions. They can activate
a sentimental emotional wire in your head that is a distraction
in spiritual development of that sort. Hormonal changes that
regulate sexual behaviour are almost a constrast to the transmiters that regulate more spiritual actions.

Have you ever tried meditating while being all horny?
