Hehehehe... Portabellos, the're non-psychadelic, edible mushrooms. and no, I can't point you towards any tek, why don't you simply buy yours from the supermarket?

You can use the same tek as the pcubs with some slight modifications. The newest Growing Gourmet and Medicinal Mushrooms has exactly what you need. I'm not sure if you can use the caking technique with bellos but i don't see why not. A 70-85 degree environment is ideal for bellos. I was thinking of growing some soon so if it is successful illl give you a buzz.

What you need is a copy of The Mushroom Cultivator from Paul Stamets. Some info also on the web: http://www.google.com/search?q=Agaricus+bisporus+cultivation&hl=de&lr= http://www.mykoweb.com/articles/cultivation.html

>anno: does the mushroom cultivator explains also how to >grow psilocybes? Yes. Many species of psilocybe are covered in the book along with many edibles.

This is an exciting find written 18 yrs ago on shroomery.org
In 1960s Agaricus Bisporus was grown successfully in spawn bags then using favourite Shitake substrates produced equal amount of harvest to manure methods. Plus substrate was pasteurised 110°C for 20 minutes. No chemicals needed.
