Newbie Strain

Does anyone know what the best strain to start with for a complete newbie. I need a fairly potent strain that is easy to grow...also, is there any smell associated with growing shrooms. I plan on using the vermiculite/brown rice flour tek. Please recommend strain.

Ok...well I was thinking about buying B+, would this be a good strain to start with....please tell me if there is any smell associated with growing mushrooms?

hi. well I would suggest trying the pf original from the website. That was my first one and they turned out great. B+ equodors, and thia's are all fairly easy if you put effort in to being clean. There is a little smell like a musty forrest, but nothing too niticeable

Any p.cubensis strain is fine...

No smell, unless you put your nose right up the the mycelium and smell it, then it smells like fresh mushrooms...

When you're sterilizing the jars, there is no smell either.

My advice would be to go the thais as they colonise nice and quick which leaves less time for contams.
