Best newbie strain?

I've never done this before - are there any strains which are more reliable and/or more hardy/less likely to be screwed up than others? I'm not asking for the BIGGEST BADDEST MOST POTENT - just want to get decent results, then perhaps worry about more 'interesting' strains at a later time.
Thanks!

I would recommend EQ.
That's what I started with.

Ouch. Well either you find a close friend and maybe you get a gift (almost sure its not leagal, pretty much sure its not smart) or you do the better option and move. Good luck

Questions like this show that you didn?t really get familiar with what shrooming is all about , right?... Anyway: Generally try Cubensis first. And from reading Vendors-pages (Haven?t grown yet either) Mazatapec and Equador should do the trick for you. Somebody correct me if im wrong!

all of those would probably do well, but i've recently been very impressed with the mexi cube. heavy pinner with few aborts. fruits aren't giants, but there are so many it really doesn't make a difference in final quantity imho.

This is like asking; "what is your favorite beer or whiskey?"
Differing strokes for differing folks.
One thing is constant. Beer is beer & whiskey is whiskey.
What is easy & what you find you like, is going to be depenent on YOU.
Best bet is to try 3 -- 4 -- 5 differing strains & decide yourself.
I "like" EQ, simply because it was my first strain, it was easy to grow, it was potent.
One the other hand, after trying many other strains. EQ is still highest on my list.
But, your the one that has to do it & decide .
They are all good.
