Supporter activation issues

Hello everyone... I'm posting because I have not yet received a response to my inquiry about a few problems I've been having. Perhaps this could be fixed.

I believe the supporter activation doesn't like special characters. See, my registered login name "pokesmot" is fine but the display name "poke smot!" may be causing an issue.

When activating my supporter account, I can enter "pokesmot" for the username but it tells me that the username was not found. When entering "poke smot!", it takes me to the e-mail setup (to choose a domain), but once I choose one and submit, I get that error again: "Username not found".

I'm not sure who to contact this about, so perhaps a sticky could be made here with usernames of those who manage the different aspects of the site? I mean this for all issues, not just subscription ones, although it is important to have support for a fee-based program.

Thanks for making a good and safe community for us over the years, I hope the supporter program helps to keep the site maintained. The contributions that have already been made for bandwidth and domain costs is more than anyone could ask for, when it comes to such a big site like the shroomery.

Actually there has been a contact form for such things been added recently:

As for your email problem, yes, the ! in the username is not good....

I will PM you to work this out.
