Thanks for the help..Ive done alot of reading and I guess it helps to wait a extra week if you can after full colonazation ( if you can..cantams, etc.) But if you can, it will help your yeild of first flush. I dont know if it pertains to your method...But any info helps.

I can answer some of your ?'s...

2. After full colonization, it's ok to wait a while before birthing. In fact, a lot of people wait until pins start to show in the jar, and then they birth. This supposedly increases yeilds a bit.

3. Coco fibre is great. You can sterilize the jiffy/verm. but you don't really need to. As long as the package is just opened then and it's not exposed to some dirty room full of dust or something, it should be ok. (*should*) If you want to be extra cautious though, sterilize them both.

4. Whatever the tek said, expect slightly less.

5. I've never done this tek, but in the actual tek it says this increases yeilds. You might want to check with someone who's done this tek to see if that's true or not.
