I think the SOS Tek is good. But what Tek are you going to follow for groing out your cakes? I'd go with Ryches birdseed cakes.

Check out the Cube Tek on our site. It's an excellent version of the SOS Tek that is pretty simple yet effective.

I still recomend straight PF tek or MMGG for absolute beginners. The only thing I'd recomend trying your first time that deviates from either is the double ended casing described by PF.

Others may disagree, but in order to keep you in this hobby, you have to get results. The most surefire way to get results is straight PF tek or MMGG. Casing of any type was difficult for me to learn.....
