Can you mushrooms cause mental problems?

How many times can i take shrooms in a month without it having serious negative effects on me? What would the negative effects be? Will i ever develope a tolerance to shrooms and how long does it take for the tolerance to go away

Yes, if you have Psychological problems to begin with, mushrooms can potentiate those. Yes, you can build a tolerance to them, if you eat them to frequently. Increasing the dose will overide the tolerance, but it is better to take a couple weeks off in between doses. I have no desire to eat them more than twice a year, but I used to eat them more frequently. You won't be able to overdose. But the actual effects of the drugs can be dangerous. Do them with someone who is responsible, and has done them before.

You won't develop any "serious negative effects" by using psilocybe mushrooms. They don't cause brain damage. They don't cause any kind of physical damage.

Tolerance is another deal entirely. Yes, you will build up a tolerance. It will happen VERY QUICKLY. Take a dose of shrooms one day, and the next day you would probably have to take TWICE the dose to get the same effects. After a few days of usage, NO DOSAGE WILL GIVE YOU ANY EFFECTS. That means there is no point to taking shrooms every day. I'm not exactly sure how long tolerance lasts, but I think it can last up to a few weeks (possibly a month?).

You could probably get by taking them ONCE a week. I wouldn't recommend it. You'll definately notice a decline in the quality of your trip after a few weeks. Give yourself at least 2 weeks between doses, and everything will work fine.

As I have been told numerous times: you have your whole life to Trip; don't rush it.

What the fuck do you mean, monkeys can't fly? Negative effects from mushies that's unpossible.

There's not negative effects from mushrooms that I've found so far.

it even helps me understand the voices in my head better.

any kind of abuse is harmful, maybe not phisical but mentally for sure...
wait at least 2-3 weeks between shrooming...just a suggestion
