Perfect Acrylic Grow Chamber

Hey guys, this is my first post as a member of this forum, so hey how's everyone doin?  Anyway, I've been sitting here smokin it up for about an hour and a half and went looking for some acrylic/plexiglass cases or boxes to see how much they would cost.  Anyway, I came across this link on Ebay, and I think it would be the perfect grow box, but I'm not really prepared to purchase or I'd be buying this thing myself.  The best part is it'll probably go for 19.99 plus shipping.  Wow, I'm kinda stoned and it kinda seems like I'm advertising this thing like I'm sellin it or something, lol.  Well, I'm not, I swear.  I just figured that if I couldn't get it, that someone else on here should be able to and not let it go to waste.  Anyway, heres the link:  Sweeeeet.  By the way, I just wanted to say that Sporesdirect.com rocks.  I sent them a PM earlier today with some questions, and they got back to me w/in the hour.  They are the reason I was comfortable enough to make my first spore purchase today  :grin:  Plus the free syringe in case I screw it up doesn't hurt either...  Anyway, wish me luck, and I really hope someone gets that case and shows some pics of how well it works...

NeedMoreSleep, welcome.

That is definitely a sweet box you linked, but one problem I see with it is the sheer amount of vertical space. It's pretty tall, and unless you have a humidifier setup, just perlite or regular misting might not suffice to keep that much volume at the correct humidity.

Ive been thinking that something that would make a GREAT grow chamber would be one of those meat display cases at the grocery store, you know the plastic ones that are refridgerated and sealed at the seams? take out the refridge unit, hook up your humidifier,air pump, and possibly heat source to the vents for the old fridge unit, and WALLA, excellent grow chamber.

i agree with the above on the box thing, u dont need all that verticle space... least not for shrooms but it might be nice for certain plants like salvia...

I was thinking the same thing, but I think that it would be pretty easy to put some shelves in there, plus with the hole already in the bottom, you could easily store your humidifier/ventilation setup of choice right in the bottom, clean out of view.. With a couple shelves of shrooms, the problem of keeping the humidity up probably would be such a problem... whatcha think?

Edit: also I was thinking that the bottom section would be the perfect place for an incubator setup, being cutoff from light and all, thoughts??? if any of the masters on here think this could be a decent setup, i might just try to pick it up and hold it for a few months...
