mycellium extraction tek?

Im tryin to find a writeup i read a while back, that was used to extract the phychoactive material from the mycellium. Im having trouble growing shrooms,so i think just growing the mycellium is my best bet. Its alot safer for me anyhow.

I searched around, but the search kinda sucks, with no luck.

If anyone can post any links for extracting, thatd be awesome. I was looking for the cranberry juice one. Thanks

dude get this book from amazon.com. its called psilocybin production by adam gottlieb. a very detailed book with lots o pics and it was only 12.95. its pretty easy 2 follow and does not reqire a huge investment in materals. gl

Yea, it has to do with cran juice, ill look for it, see if i can find it.

O, and you can boil cakes/mushrooms and then strain it and drink that, but its not Pure silly-cyben...

Personally, those cranberry juice extractions sound NASTY! I would extract 3x (for a few hours, I'd guess) with methanol, then evaporate the methanol off for pretty pure psilocin/psilocybin powder... just make sure to evaporate all the methanol. It would be a good idea to have a still setup to distill the methanol from something like anti-freeze or washer fluid, and to recover the solvent in the end.

If this sounds too complicated for ya, then it probably is. Remember, though, you're not going to get nearly as many doses per cake from mycelium than full-grown fruits. If stealth is your problem, I'd go for the invitro growing technique. You let the shrooms fruit right in the jars, and it can be found at mycotopia.net
