Prints to syringe

I know my method. How do you all transfer your prints to syringe? I ussually just scrape my prints into my jars. (pretty drunk right now)

Squirt boiled (and allowed to cool) water into a ziploc bag. Scrape spores off foil with my fingernail. Clean ziploc with alcohol swab at corner. Insert needle and withdraw spore solution. Viola, my spore syringe.

wrap shotglass in tinfoil, wrap syringe in tinfoil, wrap scalpell in tinfoil
and load that stuff to the pc.

pc for 20 mins @ 15psi.
reduce heat so u can open the pc and remove content but KEEP WATER BOILING.

draw up boiling STERILE water to syringe couple times and
shoot it back out, finally seal it with water inside and let it cool.

unwrap shotglass/scalpell, scratch spores, shoot in half of syringe water,
stirr with needle, draw up, repeat - et voila.

DA FUNKAAAAY SYRINGOOORRR :laugh:

Make prints on autoclave bag material. Once layed & dry, lay another same size piece over top & use impulse sealer to seal all four sides.

To extract, use syringe needle to puncture one side of print bag on corner, inject 10 / 20 ml of sterile water, rub bag with fingers - spores go into solution. Asperate with syringe.

- clean well a small coffee cup with disinfectant
- scrape spores into the cup with a scalpel (pre-sterilized with fire)
- boil water, and suck boiling water in a sterile (=new) syringe
- squirt water into the cup and stir using the syringe needle
- suck water mixed with spores in the syringe
- also suck some air into the syringe (taking air from inside a flame)
- put cap to needle and shake syringe
- store in a clean place for 24 hours before use

Think ... Reynolds non stick aluminum foil , spores do not stick to it for shit , so is very easy to pour into syringe body , then suck in water to make a soulution . The only problem with this stuff is when you open your little foil pouch you must be carefull to not spill spores all over the damn place .

But you get the idea . Non stick foil = no scraping , and less spores left behind . :thumbup: :wink:
PS I hate syringes , nothing like agar for me  :wink:
Just trying to get folks to try the foil , when they take prints .

OK "Syringe TEK a la MF"! :lol:

- small sterilized jar with hole in tyvek/polyfill lid
- put lid on loose
- insert a mushroomcap with "pincet" or a alcohol cleaned nail in the cap
- put lid back and screw
- after 24 hours take cap out of it with pincet or take it by the nail
- scrape the spores with scalpel
- close lid again
- you have a sterilised syringe with sterile water ready
- squirt through the hole and tyvek / polyfill in the jar
- shake the jar (better with tyvek)
- suck back in syringe
