Remembering your trip

Does anyone know of any techniques or whatnot that help you remember your trip better?

I usually can recall everything like the day after, but after a few days I forget alot of the things I was feeling and the thought patterns that were in my head.

exactly, why would you want to forget it, if youre just doing it to do it, then you're tripping for no reasons, keep a notebooke and a pencil with you and jot down thoughts that cross your mind, they may seem insignifigant at the time, but they could spark your memory later, or maybe if you can remember the day after, type out a brief trip report for yourself. to help you remember.

i mean why would you want to remember it because it is just a memory. thats all. it was fun while it lasted, but you arent even sure if it exists? atleast i am not. i always think that i might be on some porch somewhere staring up at the sky and everythiong that is going on is in my head, and they are just illusions, and none of the stuff really happened. if you think of it that way then you trip extremely hard and the trip is always worth it. that is all that i meant.

Good idea hubert. I want to invest in a camera, my friend actually has one.. negative image is crazy. And anyways, a camera wouldt really make you remember all of the trip, only the actions and words you speak. not what you think... maybe if you saw yourself sitting you might remember what you were thinking about. I havent tripped hard so i can remember everything from my trips so far.. so all is good :)

Some parts of a trip will be impossible to remember simply because some parts of the trip can't enter your memory. Your memory only has *one* perspective it is rememeberd in. (Other perspectives are imagined/created)
Egoless memories as a whole are impossible to remember the experience as it existed at the time.

try to bring a notebook where ever you go in your trip and just write the things down you think you want to remember at the moment. good luck :smile:

Well you will never be able to remeber everything...but I feel that you always bring back a few important points from your trip..just try to understand what you are realizing then you will be able to remember the just of the situation..take care
