No matter what your stance is on the war in Iraq, remember the troops coming back are the ones that will leave the military and have a great deal become police in our areas. i don't know about your areas, but San Diego county has put a freeze on hiring civilians so they can fill their ranks with ex-marines (military in general but marines seem to be the targets of police recruiting).
i don't know about you, but it bothers me that these guys who are being taught to torture and beat people are coming back here to out land with this mentality.. that's just how i want my cops trained...
