 First Time Trip plannng.

I am currently planning on tripping for the first time. I want to know should i do it 1. At my house when my parents are asleep and 2. Should i do it with a friend?......i have heard both good and bad and I would really appreciate other input..- Trip Fiend

Well, first off... I wouldnt recomend having a first trip by yourself. I'm sure people have but I, personally, would feel alot more comfortable around someone I know well. Of course, it'd be nice if he was tripping too...And, I would wait for a good opportunity to trip as well. Like, the next time your folks are outta town or go camping somewhere. That would take away much of the paranoa and you could act alot more free. Because believe me, the last thing you wanna do while tripping is be caged-up in your room or something. Nasty shit. peace

I agree with hashbury for the most part. I would not trip for the first time when your parents are in the building. I would try and get a friend in on it (who would trip too). If you must trip by yourself, I'd recommending getting a backpack of supplies (water, toys, food, blanket) and going to a park or wooded area where you feel comfortable. If you're particularly adventurous then go for the solo trip, but it's probably more fun to be with a tripping friend. Read the Psychedelic Experience FAQ if you haven't already (under the Trip Tips section of the shroomery).
Have fun but wait until it's a good time if you want to enjoy yourself.

Its best to not have to worry about anything while tripping. Read the FAQ as mentioned. Its full of information everyone should know before tripping. Also read as many trip reports as you can before doing it. They really helped me prepare for the effects of a trip.

i, personally would love to trip by myself the first time. i dunno, i think it would be interesting and fun. but only if you KNEW you could be somewhere where you could not be caught or would not freak out. of course, tripping in an empty house by yourself or in the forest by yourself could be a little freaky
ok ok here we go: first time with a friend and a sitter
second time by yourself, low dose, go for a walk w/headphones
up the chicago punx!

So basically nobody would suggest doing it in my room.....mkay...i just really want to enjoy this and not have any worry at all......I was thinking about jus sneaking out and going to a park with my friend and sneak back in after we peaked and were coming down -

thats a good idea, if you can get in and out of your house without getting caught.
tripping in your room isn't necessarily bad, but being trapped in there for 6 hours could be. also, it might be hard to keep quiet. it would suck to wake your dad up at 2:00 in the morning with you laughing hysterically at your friend playing with the miniblinds "because they make a neat sound."
definately have a friend with you. much more fun for a first trip.
if you can get out, do so. but stay somewhere you are familiar with.
a park or even a schoolyard can be good places to go, with large lawns, away from the streets and houses and such....
have fun and take care.
