Weird mushrooms - liberty caps? Info please.!

So, a kid i used to work with came in and mentioned he had some liberty caps - i dont really know what liberty caps are, but i thought they required high dosages? These are obviously hunted, and not grown - sellin QP for $180.

Sounds interesting.. So i bought an eighth, and ate it 2.5 hours ago... tea actually

Not like any other mushroom ive eaten. I was skeptical at first... but i find myself in a euphoric state - very conversational and happy - with weird visual aspects.

I dunno - its weird.

I think ive landed in a goldmine!

Liberty caps are stronger than Cubes!

They are very visual IMO less body buzz.

Where can i find more info? The erowid vaults dont have anything specificlly on liberty caps.

Theyre very fun. I find the visuals very different, but not overtaking - but strong body buzz, and mental enhancement, rather than confusion. Less, knowledge maybe... but very tactile and enhancing of personal feelings, and the environment at hand.

Whats the typical duration?

Same actives? - they certainly bruise blue.

Same actives overall. They shouldnt be tooo different from cubensis(most often blackmarket mushrooms seen in the usa, or my area of it atleast), but maybe in slightly different quantities which could result in slightly different trips.

Its an interesting trip... Although it might be more associated with my mental state right now. I look forward to playing with higher dosages.

Usually quite small if from playing fields, larger from cow/sheep fields.In Scotland 50 is a normal dose(fresh or dried)Once had approx 1000 fresh in tea between 3, felt first affects in 7 mins but still lasted the usual 6-7 hours.ps the maggots in fresh can put some people off.

Yeah the maggots really suck, tea is the best way atleast then you boil the buggers.

Apparently they contain more actives per gram than cubensis.. but not by much. The trips are different but I find it hard to explain how. I have tried both homegrown cubensis and freshly picked libs and I have to say I prefer the libs, even with the maggots. That may have alot to do with set and setting though, when I've tripped on libs I've been out in the fields picking with my friends... good times.

How do i know if they are infact liberty caps as the kid suggested - i was skeptical.

if this is something you're interested in, you should definatley get Hallucinogenic and Poisonous Mushroom: Field Guide
good pics and details also, handy if you ever plan on finding l.c's on your own, much cheaper that way, easy to find, and in my opnion better tea.
