question about liberty caps

Hi, just wondering wether the potency of liberty caps lie in the cap or the stalk?

Ive been told different things by 2 friends who are both experienced shroomers, hope u guys can help  :cool:

usually do eat all the mushrooms, but got a bag of dry mushies at home (mostly stalks) and wonderin if they were worth eatin.

Equally distributed between the caps and stalks. Or if the levels are different its too small to notice. Eat em all.
