According to "The Illustrated Trip" they dedicated The Other One they played that night to Owsley 'cause he was serving time. It doesnt mention anything about Bill Graham though

He was playing a cow-bell, not a gong......also, the picture shows Pigpen singing, so try some of those songs.  :laugh:

Yeah, well, I just re-read it........I think I know whats up now. It says he hit a gong, and then conducted the Dead. I guess the picture was from a different night, which explains the caption.  He did look kinda spaced out in it, but.......I guess he wasn't. :sun:
