WTF???? Friend arrested for rape?

I just found out that an old friend of mine was arrested for raping an 83 year old woman (he's 23). I am utterly shocked, and more than suspicious of the charges. Out of all my friends, he is among the LEASE likely to do something like this.

I'm shocked. Utterly shocked. How does shit like this happen? :confused:

So true. A high school friend of mine did 10 years for rape. And I would've never expected him to be the one to do something like that.

After he got out of the joint he called me wanting to re-kindle our frienship. I had to make it clear to him that I wasn't comfortable having him around my wife. I've never heard from or seen him since.

i used to be frinds with this guy he was the only guy i really knew he aways had weed so thats one reson we hung out there was a cuple times i woke up with his hand in my pocket and shit i told he to stop and he did and then one day we all ate ccc's a very very high dose and him and his brother fucked each other we all stoped hanging out with him from that point that was two yrs ago and within the last yr i hear that he raped a 16 yr old boy he would be like 22 now

was it a rape charge, sexual assault charge, or an attempted rape charge? and actually sexual assault does cover a wide range of things... from unwanted groping to forced intercourse...

I knew a guy in high school (who I absolutely despised BTW) who raped my friends girlfriend. He lured her upstairs at a party and jumped on her. There's a good chance she can't have children now. I wasn't there (because he was there actually), but apparently he got his ass kicked proper before the fuzz showed up to haul him off. The cops didn't even say anything about the beating. Anyway, even though he was a total ass, nobody would have pegged him as a rapist. It's just not something you would suspect somebody as being capable of doing.

In Canada "rape" is not an actual charge. It is covered under "sexual assault". Since trendal is in Canada, I'm sure this would be sexual assault.
