should I eat these shrooms???

I was out picking and on my way back to my car I noticed some shrooms growing out of red mulch right next to some bushes. They're about 2.5 inches tall. The cap is brownspotted in the center, goes lighter though the middle, then dark brown on the edges. The stalk and gills are a white cream color. There is no blue bruising at all. I picked these in central FL just northeast of Orlando.

no, they are not magic. and you should not eat them :)

They don't sound like magic mushrooms, maybe edible ones but I doubt it. It takes a better description than that to determine.
There should be a mycological society in your area, check it out!
