Salvia concerns

I just picked up some Salvia and really want to do some tonight. My question is how important is it to have a sitter, what are the main risks of doing it without one, and does anyone know what kind of percautions could I possibly take to do it alone because I will not be around anyone for a long time that could act as a sitter for this experiment?

Would halfing the recommended dosage be a good idea in this case to get a taste of the effects or is it more all or nothing kind of deal?

Also I am meant to wake up early tommorow to go somewhere, will Salvia use leave me significantly out of commission for any extended period of time, or does a night sleep usually restore regularity? (minus perhaps being really freaked out or in awe of whatever happened i guess)

If you have any doubts then you definately need a sitter.

it would definitley be best to have a sitter, but if i were to do it for myselfe i would lock myselfe in a room filled with pillows and padded walls...just wait for the sitter  :tongue:

salvia won't leave you out of commission
the peak is 5 minutes and the ledge is 2 hrs
afterglow seems to rein for 3 days or go unnoticed.
definitely go for 1/2 reccommended or less if no sitter.

the dosage to effect ramp is very steep (long way between 1 and 2, very short between 2 and 3):
1) until you threashold it seems very weak
2) at the right dose it is very strong
3) any little bit stronger and it is waaay tooo strooong
but it wont hurt you but you might get scared and do stupid things.

I too am a bit scared to use it as I hear it kicks your ass in secounds. but hell I just ordered 3g's of 10x :P

The first time I did it I did it alone, because I was so excited. I didn't have a problem because I told myself to just take the hits and then lay back and stay in bed. You can control yourself when you smoke Salvia, just stay in the strong frame of mind. If you trip often and know how to do this then I definitely think you can do it without a sitter. I do not recommend doing this, but I think you can

So I decided to give it a shot last night I have these little pills full of some variety of salvia. The guy at the store said that burning an entire pill full in one long hit was usually good, so what I did was smoke it REALLY slowly in about 6 hits slowly increasing in size as I went. Most of them just gave me a slight lightheaded feeling but on my second last one I got an idea what it can do. My throat suddenly felt really weird and time seemed to speed up and I really wanted to lay down in my bed, but the strangest thing about it was the intense sense of de-ja-vu I had during the whole 15 or so seconds that the really intense part lasted. I had thoughts like maybe this is a feeling I had in some past life or maybe it was just similar to something I felt a long long time ago, or maybe I was connected to another me in a different reality that was having the same experience.. weird stuff like that.
It was impressive, but I see why people say use a sitter, because that was like a fraction of what I imagine it would be if i had smoked the whole thing. I have 3 of those pills left so its all good for whenever I'm with someone that can watch.

you cant always control yourselfe...many of my friends, who ive smoked salvia with, get up and start walking around or running, and afterwards they have no recolection of it...so you might end up doing something dangerous, probably not, but maybe.

HAVE A SITTER. i did a pretty good amount of salvia bymyself one day and I woke up the next day to hacked furniture and smashed lamps...from the salvia induced rampage i went on with a sword from my collection. Wich is weird because I heard it gives you feeling of euphoria but It seemed to make me think I was a Samurai.

i dont do salvia annymore.
