Diff between mycelium and mold

Im really starting to suspect cobweb mold in my casings instead of mycelium growth.. is there a surefire way to tell mycelium from cobweb mold?.. It looks very light white.. not grey.. juts light white..

coweb mould typically spreads REALLY quickly over the surface of a casing. like a day or to we're talking here...
it will usually only show up with too little air exchange...
if ur new to cult. chances are you are just being paranoid.
this is no sure way to test but a few pointers, cobweb has no smell whilst myc has a very distinctive smell. they are very different in appearance and growth. maybe cut out a section of it (sterile of course) and freeze it in a bag. myc should go a shade of blue with touch, but freezing and thawing (maybe a bit or handling to bruise) will definitely make it go blue, even if only a light shade.

Cobweb is grey. If you've got white, you're OK.
