...I realize it was only my imagination and breath a sigh of relief as I inhale deeply the mysteries of the cosmos, through the long looping stem of my pipe, later to be contemplated in great depth as soon as I figure out the meaning of this magical world of sights and sounds where up is down, black is white, left is right, and pint-sized poodles hustle merrily down the streets, riding multicolored tri-cycles and waving to one another as if they were all part of some grand holiday parade gone wrong. Again, the phrase continued to ring in my head, getting louder and clearer with each resounding, "Why are you ,... Why are you standing on ,... Why are you standing on my front ,... Why are you standing on my front bumper! What!?! As I surveyed my surroundings it came flooding back to me in flashes of reality enough to make the most seasoned of junkies want to curl up in the fetal position and cry the tears of teething toddlers.
