Info on cheap desiccants???

ok well i have about 10 cakes and one casing pinning madly and some cakes about to be ready for harvest, can anybody help me out with some drying techniques and anywhere to buy some cheap dessiccant i will not be able to consume the shrooms for another week or so. thanks!

I think walmart,lowes,ect sell a thing called damp-out or something like that. It will do the same thing.

there are really cheap dehydrators at walmart. i read that the low end one sells for around 30 dollars. dry shrooms on the lowest setting and it takes half a day...somebody here was saying how good they are. i'll probably get one soon, just thought i'd pass that on.

i bough a food dehydrator, never dried shrooms in it but i have made beef jerky, i think it was called the snack master or somthing like that.

silica gel with color change indicators, sold for flower drying. i haven't tested and compared, but i think this gets things dryer than dryrite does. it lasts forever. you just heat it up in the oven until it turns blue again.
