Virola Sebifera

From what I've read about this snuff, Virola Sebifera has only been vaugely referenced. It was said there were many other species with a more verfied history and prevalence - not much confidence seemed to be implied about the efficacy of this particular species.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Is the chemical constituent responsible for the desired effect known at this point?

I do believe V. Sebifera is active and the levels of activity are comparable to the other Virolas.

HC! the 'tricktamine' kingdom so so immense and intrincate...
i would dare attributing virola's effects mostly to 5MEO DMT, rather than DMT itself...

If my recollections are correct 5MEO DMT is significantly more potent then DMT itself

Dosage wise, not necessarily effects wise. 5-meo-DMT is a LOT less visual. It can be equally absorbing and ego-shattering when enough is done, but its lack of visuals is almost striking. It leaves you stuck in the void.

Yes, you're right! And also, if i remember correcly, there are b-carbolines (IMAO) in the Virola's chemical makeup...

Also, I'm not sure with Virola, but at least with Yopo/Cebil snuffs many tribes used to add Caapi (literally vine to dust!)...
