Oregon frost =\
    #3421773 - 11/29/04 02:02 AM (12 years, 11 days ago)

After work tonite at 9 when I walked to my car, I noticed a very thick sparkle of ice covering the top. Just curious for others across oregon/lower washington, if they've had any frosts like this yet? I'm going to go check the patch here to see if the babies look funky, to try and judge if i should drive to corv. again. I'd be sorta upset to get all the way there to find rotting cyans =(. ~D

It froze up here last night but all the shrooms in my patch were fine and there were hundreds of new pins I am hoping will make it at least a little bigger before the freeze kills them.

I've noticed a lot of new fresh, healthy species I didn't see previously this year.  I know frost can trigger fruiting in a lot of mushrooms, but I had another theory that once one type has died off maybe another competing mycelium network is able to fruit?

I'm sure you mycopaths will know this one, but...all I can go by is wild assumptions and lack of motivation to do lengthy web searches
