The digital creation of TREG parallel dimensions * 1
    #3392154 -

True random generator hardware.

Used with programs in creating simulations of random event data.

With the eternal sphere.

I'm interested in understanding how a true random number is generated, especially since something is generated it is not usually random, this case being a possible exception.

Well the new technology, even today, can go through quantum process, the same thing nature.

Aaah, I see. That is very very interesting

But, I fail to see how randomness correlates to consciousness.

Collective consciousness projects itself.

Care to elaborate a bit on that?

consciousness is a definite individual in a set of infinite....just like a random number. my opinion at least.

i think any individual number is random, but to generate more then one, i think, destructs the whole idea of truely random, even if they are competely unrelated in any other aspect besides them being generated by the same generator... this is still something they have in common...

love to elaborate, but a car is waiting out front

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."

My Geometry teacher in Jr. High had a book of random numbers.

i cant tell if your being sarcastic or your serious... how random are they if they are in the same book?

Kind of random.

More random than a human choosing random numbers.

It was a fairly old book that was used as a calculation tool of some kind, like in the 50's or something.

Ah, yes... I have heard of this very book on Mr. Wizard (reruns of course.) Scientists used to use this book to get random numbers from when random numbers where needed in some type of experiment. When a human trys to come up with random numbers on his own, they are not truelly random.

so what if a human "randomly" selects numbers from the book of random numbers?

the fact is there is no such thing as a set of true randoms. i think the closest anyone has found is space noise or something, but this is according to my computer programming teacher.

I don't believe in true randomness, either, because I'm quite sure everything has a cause. If it has a cause, it can't truly be random.

Its impossible to "generate" a true random number because the process of generation implies that an input is required to get an output, and that output is always based on the input because the universe is like a big calculator. Physicists are now learning that even black holes can be used as a type of computer because the output is a function of the input and that is on the quantum scale.
