Yesterday I ate one pancake, some licorice, and a few spoonfuls of cereal. Oh, and some dried mushrooms. :smirk:

Heh... I have the same "problem". When I was in college, I was 5'9" and weighed around #115. It has been decade (plus) and I am still alive and kicking. I simply do not get hungry- as if my mind isn't wired to know when to eat. If I don't make an effort to eat every eay, I can go until I start to pass out before I realize that I need food (literally).

What works for me is to make eating at least twice a day a habit. I get a small snack and eat it on the way to work in the mornings and I always stop to pick up something on the way home from work. (If I shop for a lot of food at once, I forget to eat it before it rots.) I also try to have a small snack with me at all times so that if I happen to remember that I am hungry, I will have something at hand to eat.

Gomp- I eat 6 "meals" a day. My typical day of meals are kinda like this:

Meal 1 (breakfast)- Smoothie. I use whey protein, oat meal, flax seeds and then some type of fruit, sweetened with honey.

Meal 2 (mid-morning)- Non-fat yogurt and fruit.

Meal 3 (lunch)- Sandwich on whole grain bread or a salad. Use lean meat- turkey, roast beef, etc. I'll alternate with a PB&J sandwich using all natural PB and fresh fruit rather than sugar filled jelly. May have baked chips with these.

Meal 4 (mid-afternoon)- All the veggies that I want. I keep a bag of baby carrots & brocolli and some fat-free dressing to dip em in.

Meal 5 (dinner)- Lean meat like tuna, salmon, chicken. A salad. Whole grain bread.

Meal 6 (around 9pm)- Another smoothie. If I had a fruit smoothie in the a.m., I'll make this one with chocolate whey protein. If I didn't have peanut butter or other nuts during the day, I'll throw in some PB. Yum yum.

One day each week is cheat day- I can eat anything I want.

I am 34 yrs old, 5'9", and weigh 160 lbs.

If you eat this way you keep your metabolism up and you burn more calories than when you eat less during the day. You also feel a lot better- mentally and physically.
