This electronic music fucking rocks!

Besides getting stoned and beginning to partake on my jack daniels, I happened to download a set that turns out to be the best electronic music I have heard for the longest time I can remember. I changed the positiong of my speakers automatically well the music instantly put me into a deeper trance and now it feels like I am being pulled and warped into deeper tunnels, and my whole thought patterns and perceptions have shiften quite notacably from normal consiousness. I just felt very motivated and delighted to share this current experience with some fellow shroomerites.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

does anybody have any news as to what Richard D James (Aphex Twin) is up to as of late? I read somewhere that his last album, Druqz (or whatever it was called), was actually a hap-hazard effort by him to get out of his record contract. He was always one of my favorite electronic musicians...

Richard has admitted in an interview he only releases albums when he needs cash. His latest album is 26 mixes for cash. It's a two disc set and IMO blows druqs away.

mixes for cash , IMO blows.

most of that stuff... in fact, nearly all of it was already released, it was just a compilation of stuff he had already done.

his latest disc, is in fact under the monkier AFX, titled smojphace, and it is not that good imo also... but not bad! hes going back to his old drill n bass styles, like hangable auto bulb, and children talking.... his older stuff is better though, since he made it because he liked making it, not because he needed the money.

yup. I agree - rdj was much better pre-come to daddy. anything after that, sucks - in my opinion, at least.
