Once when I was young I heard a cat whining and I couldn't see it anywhere. Turned out it was stuck under the shed so me & my friend rescued it and my aunt got a new cat, we named him Sylvester because of his white belly.

Anyways, maybe it's a similar situation for you?

Is he / she still there? When did you last hear it?

i couldnt find it.  this morning the howling was gone i looked everywhere on mine and my neighbours property in every crevice i could find.  :frown:  i dunno what happened but at least i didnt find any blue stiff babies.  im osrta thinking maybe it got injured, lots of racoons here.

anyway no fur or blood either so i guess/hope its fine.

maybe if you opened the window for a second when you hear it, you could get an idea of the direction it's in.

at first i thought maybe but doesnt sound much like one at all.

i just talked to my naighbour and one of their cats is in heat. she said that it was probably a male out here trying to get at her. makes sense causes there is no cat around here, and every time i went out the noise was gone. hope thats what it is.

It was probably just having cat-sex.
Cats often make blood-curling moans and groans in their passion. :smirk:

so i recently learned...it really did sound like it was dieing tho...jeeeesus that is just wrong. oh well we squated on the deck and waited and there the bugger was. a HUGE dark tabby on the rock wall, once we moved he darted. i NEVER would have thought a cat would make such grousome noises when hard.

That was something I didn't think  about. Cat sex.
I heard somewhere they have prickles on their cat-dicks, and it tears up the fem-cat...

I was also very young and susceptible when I heard that so who knows. LOL! I'll believe anything. Once my boyfriend convinced me his 11 year old brother was already having sex!!!!
