Using a grow light to initiate fruiting

If one was growing his first batch of P. Cubensis shroomies in a rather dark space, could he use a decently cheap grow light bulb to initiate the fruiting? On the spectrum, the bulb puts out mostly blue light... will this work, or will Mr. Grower need something with a wider coverage?

You want the light to be in the blue spectrum.  A grow light would work fine.
