does anyone have a link for me to a site about cultivating pann. subbalteaus. i am gonna recieve from spores pretty soon and would like to give it a whack. can i just use the regular vermiculite/rice substrate or what? thanks all......

I am soon going to start my subbs soon too, but I have to isolate first. I'm going with rye grain in some jars, birdseed in a few others, then I'm going to use that to spawn some compost. If anyone knows a better way feel free to let me know. I am just doing what sounds like it will work, seeing as subbs are dung lovers.

Just do a search for pan, ralphster44 wrote a good tek for pans, I think dioze1 did one too, you can put dung in your jars with other substrate, or use grain or cakes to spawn a dung based compost or pasteurized dung.

check our site, it's under the methods section. "Cultivation of fruitbodies and sclerotia on sterilised grass seed".

They grow very well on sterilised grass seed.(see image below)
