Eeek, I know your joking, but just incase...

Do not use human shit... Do not use dog shit, god thats almost as bad!

Chicken shit? I guess, but the best shit is cow or horse... Or goat or lamb works too. I dunno about pig shit, im sure its as potent as chicken shit, they smell about as awful...

I grew up on a dairy farm, so I know my shit...

Yeah, what he said. The main problem with using manure in any way, is that there is a risk of passing pathogens from the 'donor' animal whomever uses the final agricutural product. Using human manure only exacerbates the problem, as it's pathogens are human based and far more likely to attack other humans.

Hey there,

Juan has them pretty damp right now...but the one's out along the ditch are dead for a fact. No really the one's around the hacienda are probably too damp as Juan's neighborhood has finally gotten needed rain after a dry three weeks...but moisture is not the issue.....Juan's ears are the issue....they ring hard while the mycelium dies (disappears?!?).

Juan has definitely not given up though and will soon have a way to protect his stuff or at least have a better understanding of exactly what is happening in regards to his mycelium stuff . Juan has a friend Javier who has many pint jars of stuff almost ready to continue his pursuit of da' shroom with in the very near future...many jars. Javier mentioned that getting the jars to the point of readiness was/is quite easy but getting the stuff to the"El Producto" zone was a bit more convolved and requires other incantations . One day soon Juan/Javier will have shrooms as nice as the one's seen in Moe the Ho's backyard in his own backyard.

Juan will basically neglect what he has going now except for checking for his earthy friend's to give him their "El Producto" stuff. Too much messing with them is not good...they will go when they are ready Juan has surmised.

Best regards,

King Bolete

I had a dream last night where a guy had enough room, supplies, and spores to innoculate tons of jars. These jars were easily hidden, and he took them outside afterwards. He didnt have enough space inside for a terrarium because he was at college. Outside where he took them, he had alot of land wich he could work with. He always asked himself the question though "Am i wasting these jars, or are fresh jars a good way to go?"

Yes, I mean use the blocks as flower pots, right there on the ground! Keeps bugs away easier, rodents, etc, Allows separation of strains, eliminates the remote possibility of contams spreading too far, drains well, picks up moisture/nutes from the ground water beneath... I could go on and on... What an idea!!

Chop hay with scissors? Screw that!! Run it over with the lawn mower and auto-bag it!
