Checking Wild Mushrooms in Metol

How accurate is this technique? Would it be worth it to buy some to help with my identifications?

I have never seen any professional mycologist use Metol in any identification. For that matter I don't know anybody who does.

Keep in mind that Metol is also pretty toxic, so anything that comes in contact with it should not be eaten.

yeah i read about it and checked past posts and decided against it it seems like taking the easy way out. I thought about using it to check identificatins that i made but i think ill just post pics when i get a camera
