rotten cyans

I found ALOT of cyans yesterday, but many where rotten, could I dry them and eat them?

YEs,

Oncve they are dried they are good still. However, I would personally throuw the rotted caps away and keep the solid stems which is usually the case since the cap is the first part of the shroom to began to deteriorate and rot from insects and microscopic organisms have ing shroom orgies.

The bacteria in rotting mushrooms can give you severe food poisoning.

they're fine if they've been munched on a bit by bugs, but if they're rotton, i dont recommend eating them at all
